Garngibboch Nature Nursery is housed within a beautiful property that has stood since 1850, surrounded by open countryside, working farmland, and extensive private gardens in Cumbernauld.
Our ground-floor nursery annex opens directly onto a secure outdoor play area, with fields, open skies and natural beauty all around us.
We believe children thrive when they are close to nature. Our days are shaped by the seasons, the weather, and the natural world outside our doors.
Inside, we draw on Montessori principles — calm, ordered spaces that invite independence, curiosity and growing confidence in every child. Outside, neighbouring farms and steadings bring children close to real farm animals — cows, sheep, chickens, horses, dogs and cats — alongside seasonal field trips nearby, including a local fishery just five minutes away.
We are a boutique setting. We will never be a large, noisy chain nursery. With a maximum of 24 children, every child is known by name, and every family feels genuinely welcomed.
